Howdy, my name is Lizbeth Infante and I am honored to serve as the Beta Eta Chapter President! Never did I see myself joining Greek life, but ever since I joined our lovely sorority, it has changed my perspective. I have had the opportunity to grow as a leader, create lifetime memories, and meet other students with similar backgrounds to mine. Joining a Multicultural Greek Sorority has allowed me to reconnect with my culture here at Texas A&M and find my second family. I am beyond grateful to be part of the first established Latina sorority in the nation, as it symbolizes the opportunities it has provided for minority women seeking higher education to come together. Our sisterhood extends beyond Texas A&M, with chapters established at other universities such as the University of Texas at Austin and Sam Houston State University. Additionally, we have alumni chapters as our sisterhood goes beyond the collegiate level.
This sorority is the greatest decision I have ever made as it has given me a lifetime support and shaped me to the woman I am today. I have been able to experience important moments of my college career alongside my sisters/siblings who have given me immense love and support. They have become a cherished part of my life, providing me with such incomparable friendships. I am proud of the chapter because I know that they carry our principles and values everywhere they go.
With Unity, Love, and Respect,
Lizbeth Infante “I”
Chapter President
