Howdy, my name is Adriana Salgado and I am honored to serve as the Beta Eta Chapter President! Before I was interested in becoming a Lambda Lady, I never imagined myself joining a sorority, much less becoming the president of a chapter, because I had no idea that multicultural sororities or organizations existed. Now, as a sister of Lambda Theta Alpha, I feel immense pride that our sorority, the first Latina sorority in the nation, paved the way for minorities to come together, empower each other, and create lifetime bonds. It has amazed me to see alumni from the Beta Eta Chapter express how this sorority has influenced them, and the way it still continues to influence sisters and siblings today to grow and become the best version of themselves.
This sorority is the greatest decision I have ever made; it has given me a lifetime support system, sisters and siblings who truly know what sisterhood means, and developed me into the woman I am today. They have become more than just a home-away-from-home; they have become a cherished part of my life. I am proud of this chapter, as well as every other sister who represents it, because I know that they carry our principles and values everywhere they go.
With Unity, Love, and Respect,
Adriana Salgado "V"
Chapter President
