Jacqueline Juarez Pres

Howdy, my name is Jacqueline Juarez and I am honored to serve as the Beta Eta Chapter President for the 2023-2024 school year! Our chapter was founded in 1998 here at Texas A&M University by 12 lovely Founding Sisters becoming the first LTA chapter to be founded in Texas. By establishing this sisterhood, we have continuously promoted our principles of unity, love, and respect. Becoming a Lambda Lady makes me feel a sense of pride in our sorority by becoming the first to pave the way for minority women seeking higher education to come together, empower each other, and create lifetime bonds.  Being able to hear how the Lambda Theta Alpha has influenced members and continues to influence sisters/siblings after graduating truly shows that our sisterhood goes beyond the collegiate level.

This sorority has been the greatest decision I have ever made; it has given me a lifetime support system, sisters/siblings who have shown me what sisterhood means and have helped me grow into the woman that I am today. I have had the amazing opportunity to have connections with my line sisters from the University of Houston, Sam Houston State University, University of Texas, and SFA. Coming to a PWI school was really difficult to adjust to and lacked feeling at home. So finding LTA has been more than just a home away from home, sisters/siblings have made such a positive impact on my life I cannot imagine life without them. I am proud of this chapter, as well as every other sister who represents it because I know that they carry our principles and values everywhere they go.

With Unity, Love, and Respect,

Jacqueline Juarez “S”

Chapter President
